The Evo felt much nicer to drive. Much more refined, especially in the medium / high speed corners. A much better overall package in the wet as well, McLaren did a great job with it.

A curiosity: why so in the middle of the track or even on the inside at the end of the straights? To prevent oversteer turning with more angle in wet conditions or something else? Would wet be the way you want your first drive since last time? I've always heard its better to start in the wet, get a feel for things, and then push incrementally in the dry after.

Honestly I'd rather it be dry as it's less risky & a bit easier to get comfortable with things, but just getting on track is the main thing. I had some wet running & a bit of dry running too, so I feel prepped for all conditions going into race week🙂
