Maash'Allah, very professionally made videos. I found your commentray very inspiring and insightful. Myself and some friends will be going in a couple of months IA.. we've been preparing.. I've even used an app to learn some japanese.. my only really worry is finding Halal (ハラール) food .. but I'm reassured after seeing your clips.. Thanks again..

I'm glad I found your videos! I will be moving to Tokyo for a couple of years and as a muslim I was a bit worried for the food! I thought there was only pork ramen hahaha. Anyway, so glad and thank you for citing all the spots so I know what to do in the first weeks :)

As a fellow muslim, i can't help but wonder how and where do you do your daily prayers there if there were no nearby mosques/masjids?
@withlovero4 жыл бұрын
Salaam, I break my day in two whenever I travel in a non-Muslim area. I get out early - typically around sunrise (after fajr has passed), have breakfast, explore/sightsee/shop, then return to my airbnb or hotel either at dhuhr or asr time to pray those two prayers shortened and combined (as is permissible during travel), and then set out again for the rest of the day, returning while it is still isha (before midnight) to pray maghrib and isha, shortened and combined, too. I look for masjids for jumah to join the congregation and experience their community. Hope this helps inshaAllah.

@@withlovero i'm sorry if that question came off rude! I was genuinely curious and I really didn't mean to insinuate anything. But thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Also just want you to know I enjoy your videos a lot and looking forward to your Seoul videos. Sorry once again XD

no no don't worry!! I totally read it wrong the first time around. forgive me!! (I'm so embarrassed now 😭😣) thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting and again I'm so sorry too!
@Chevie4 жыл бұрын
@@withlovero No you're right I made a mistake in wording my sentence haha. But yeah no offence taken here. I was just wondering if you ever had to pray somewhere other than masjids/airbnb due to unexpected problems etc. xD If anything you helped a lot by answering my question. Will keep them in mind when i go to Japan one day, in sha Allah :D
@withlovero4 жыл бұрын
@Chevie hmmm... I haven’t had to pray in unexpected situations while traveling as much as I have had to in regular life (ie changing rooms, train stations in public, behind my desk at work, etc hahaha) because I‘m able to loosely plan the timing and flow of my day for the most part to make time to pray. We did have to pray in halal restaurants at times, though. In Japan, the fitting rooms are either nonexistent or tiny unless it’s high end shopping, so I didn’t experience much of this while there. It’s also good to do research to see if the Muslims in the cities you go to have set up prayer rooms/musollahs/suraus! It helps so much!

As salaamu alaikum, we took trips when we were able to (during work or school breaks) and made sure to budget while abroad. Alhamdulillah it’s from Allah. I would recommend saving up little by little to go to where you’d like to go InshaAllah.
