@@malabikakundu8117 why I am more surer about handling the character is the director of the film : Meghna Gulzar (director of better films like Talwar and Raazi) along with a very competent actor, Vikky Kaushal who has had many convincing performances across his cinematic journey! These are the two main reasons I am hopeful for the film. If the team wouldn't have been this good, all my hopes would have been shattered from the day one!

अभी अभी सैम मानेक शॉ पर लिखी पुस्तक "Soldiering with Dignity" पढ़ी है। इसे उनके करीबी रहे Lt Gen दीपेंदर सिंह ने लिखा है। इस पुस्तक में उनकी मृत्यु २९ जून को होना बताया है। सेम बहादुर के आखिरी दिनों पर उन्होंने अलग चैप्टर लिखा है।जिसका टाइटल वलहल्ला दिया है। वहल्ला वो स्थान है जहां युद्ध के देवता युद्ध में शहीद सैनिकों को खुद स्थान देते है। सेम बहादुर अलग मिट्टी के बने थे। एक व्यक्ति में अनेक गुण थे। हो सकता है कि उनके इन गुणों के कारण उनके ही लोग उनसे नफरत करते रहे हो। उनकी जीवनी में शर्मिला टैगोर की शादी में सम्मिलित होने का उल्लेख नही है।
