What's up mga bees! Ang topic na ito ay tungkol sa SHEAR AND MOMENT IN BEAMS.
Here is the Problem:
The beam ABCD shown in the figure has overhangs that extend in both directions for a distance of 4.2 m from the supports at B and C, which are 1.2 m apart. Draw the shear-force and bending-moment diagrams for this overhanging beam.

Goodmorning Sir pwede puba mag tanong trapezoidal din po kasi yung problem na binigay sakin ng prof ko pero naka loob yung resistance ng tig 1m yung ginamit po kasi pag solve sa gitna is yung sa trapezoid na 1/2(h1+h2)b which is iba sa mga napapanuod ko po hindi nya po hinati kagaya nung ginawa nyo na traingle at rectangle pwede po kaya yon?

Hi! Doon ba sa pagsolve ng REACTIONS? Yes pwedeng buo na trapezoid. You will just need to find the location of the centroid. You can search the internet for the formula. Hinahati ko lang kasi sa triangle at rectangle kasi mas madali malaman locations nila kasi dba pag rectangle sa gitna mismo tas pag trianglr eh 1/3 from the height. However pag buo kasing trapezoid mejo mahaba formula para sa location. Pero ayun nga to answer your question, YES PWEDE😉
