The last part where he shared his struggle about emotional health encouraged me. I'm 47 and a few months ago I started experiencing a lot of anxiety. The weird thing is that before than I would never have said I was an anxious person. At a low point I started to see a counselor. I feel similarly... why did it take me so long to see these things in me? These unhealthy behaviors, that are so much a part of my life, especially when facing challenging. The other interesting thing is, I feel God is using it to give me a greater capacity for other things. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing what you did. Blessings!❤

"I'm preaching better than your responding!" LOL we just had that happen in our church with a guest speaker. We later got rebuked in our leaders meeting.... 🤦♀ #sigh

I enjoyed this, as always. I really resonated with understanding fully-you’re flat not gonna be liked sometimes, and it is REALLY OK, as long as you are seeking peace and pursuing it. I needed to hear that…it also reminds me how messy life can be. The other part that resonated with me strongly was to appreciate how God uses all people and the secret sauce is in our diversity and identifying our own voice…it reminded me I need to be actually articulating, too.
