As of 19/06/2017 I would happily replace all 4 of he's LCH heads with our very latest, no charge. I just wish Mr Fixing dude could have given us the opportunity before making this video.

I bought one of Rotecs alternator kits for my 2200 Sonex. I installed it after I found out it wasn't supposed to fit. The alternator supplied did not work. The rectifier was blown and it cost me 100 Can to repair. After installing it I had to shim the alternator pulley .090 farther out to line up with the crank pulley. I know its inline because I had an alignment tool made and it is lined up perfectly. The supplied belt with the kit broke after only 10 hrs so I went and bought the best fan belt I could find. So far it works fine for about 5 hr then the belt starts to loosen. I cant for the life of me keep that belt tight. It charges at 14.2 volts then gradually goes down to 13.6 as the belt loosens. I have contacted Rotec and told them my troubles and they told me they could do nothing. I was promised 100 dollars off my next purchase then I was promised a free ignition which I never received for all the trouble I have had. I see the problem as the engine pulley being too big. The alternator is a Kubota unit which doesn't need to run as fast as it does. I am out a lot of money ( over 1000 Canadian dollars) for something that doesn't work very well at all.

I've recently fitted these heads to my Jabiru and had no problems whatsoever. No oil or water leaks and great service from Aerosport. I suspect the problem here is incorrect installation.

The oil leaks from the pushrod tubes may be the fact that they need to be swaged a tiny bit bigger to put more compression on the o-ring..........o-rings seal by being compressed 10% and that might not be happening if the tube OD has diminished...........jabiru talks about making sure the tube OD has not gotten any smaller over time and i believe there is a spec on that dimension.........if you had let Rotec know and got them involved before bad mouthing them , i know for a fact that they would have made the problem right..........and the tube OD would have been checked by them at that time.........the Rotec guys are a great bunch and stand behind their work and dont leave you hanging out in the breeze like the eggman does..........if you put the original heads back on , you will end up with the cylinders squishing into the heads like they do.........Jabiru has now prevented this with a one piece barrel and head assembly.........Rotec knows what they are doing and they would have helped out with the situation if you had given them the chance...........Rotecs design is a good solution to a problem that has plagued jabiru heads of old...........Rotec guys are top notch..

This isn't a Jabiru problem. Jabiru didn't supply or manufacture these heads … Correct?

Heading:LCH liquid cooled Heads. The vdo shown had nothing to with the installation or performance of the lch. All I got out of it is that he is experiencing oil leaking issues. Waste of time. Get it off you tube, stop wasting peoples time .
