Now this kit, THIS is a kit that would benefit from a hangar-style base, wether the MS CAGE that was included with the HD color Unicorn release or individually p-bandai, OR the expanded p-bandai base that was released for Thunderbolt FA Gundam. Either would either display the chobham armor side-by-side, or even half-armored.

When I think about how the RX-78 was able to stalemate against the Zeong. I would have liked to see how Amuro could defeat it with the Alex considering both suits use psycommu.

Sean G- It wouldn't even have be a fight the NT-1 is superior to the Rx-78-2 and Char barely was able to keep up with it, if Amuro had the NT-1 Char dies in that fight. Also the NT-1 does not have any Psycommu systems, it has a panoramic cockpit and is designed to be able to keep up with the abilities and reflexes of a Newtype.

Heck, I'd say if you're a big fan, you should buy 2 sets of this MG. Given how good this MG is with things like the Chobam Armor, face armor (featured only in the BB Senshi version), and including the optional broken v-fin (from the anime), I suspect Bandai intends on doing multiple Premium Bandai releases based on this MG including things like: - MG RX-78AN-01 Gundam AN-01 "Tristan" - MG FA-78-NT-1 Full Armor Gundam ALEX

My nt1 had to have parts of the arm glued so they wouldn’t split open at a slight glance, and it works perfectly. Other then that, this is a good kit.

Both broke on mine. The inner frame material is VERY fragile on mine in general. Not sure if it's the design or I just got a bad copy. All the armor plates are good. Might get another one and try again. Use the first as battle damage practice.

Bandai is always retconning design features, before they said that the chobham closed off most of its thrusters, but with this kit it's got hatches to reveal them.
