Oh, I remember the Knives-on-the-Go guy, and Slugworth, if that's who you mean by "Nazi Illuminati." That kind of collective manipulation of memory is known as "The Mandela Effect," named after when people thought that Nelson Mandela died in jail. I think it may also be known as "The Berenstain Effect" since a lot of people misremember Stan Berenstain's last name being spelled with three e's instead of two e's and an a. My jury's out, but I do remember pronouncing it "stain" instead of "stein" or "steen."

Fun fact: none of the Oompa Loompa's knew English. They had no clue what was going on and only knew the words to their songs.
@Internationale73 жыл бұрын
Nah that's a half truth, some of the oompa loompas were from Turkey or Germany but others like Rusty Goff for instance, were from the UK

I am laughing so hard watching this after reading about Gene Wilder improving the boat ride scene and really scaring the kids and deciding to yell at grandpa and Charlie in his office when he was supposed to speak calmly. 😂 Great actor indeed.

Damon has some of the very best lines. With great delivery. "You thought I was kidding...I was DEAD serious...Poor choice of words" And of course his dead pan "cream" line from the Shazam ending commentary.

Love how Augustus is rather chubby and in the remake he was considerably large.
@scottylewis81246 жыл бұрын
DrGrukar McNinjaSixthGun well the weight varies between both.

To be fair, back then agustus probably looked obese. As the times change, so does our interpretation of weight.

Augustus was not really supposed too be really fat, just gluttonous.

DrGrukar McNinjaSixthGun Meh. In the early 70’s, everyone was on dexies and Tab. That’s what it looked like to be obese in 1971.
