Good stuff. My alternator is making some noise but it hasn't caused any problems yet so this will be helpful when I inevitably have to do it. Nice that it can be done from the top of the engine because my driveway (and street) is not nearly level enough to jack up a car safely.

Mine went out today. Bought a used one from a used parts place for 75.00 it's got a 6 month warranty.

@@hughblue1404 Wow that's crazy. How many miles do you have? I wonder if this would be covered under the powertrain warranty. My dad just went to get his car updated for his security at the dealership because of the high theft rate of these cars. There is also a fuel related update as well for the ECM.
