Ah, you could have did better. Compress the spring ON THE LOWER ARM. So when its time to take it out you can just unscrew it and it will safetly release. Also, I see you didn't do it the way the manual said. I couldn't get the thing to fit by doing it the manual way....

What happens when you jump it from the relay and the starter kicks on and the engine spins but doesn't start could the starter still be bad I'm stuck man I replaced so many fuzes and idk what happened ran smooth stopped to get gas and didn't turn over when I tried to start it 2008 chevy tahoe 5.3l

Can you try to loosen the lock nut with 4 pins while the hub is on the truck? I wonder if that is easier while everything is mounted in place.

Bruh, don't make anymore videos. 1. Don't use a real razor blade to scrape, 2. Use the damn gasket that comes with it. 3. RTV has a cure time of 12-24 hours. 4. You heard of a torque spec?

Well i got everything kff except the bottom amd far back bracket bolts. Ill have to use a short socket/ratchet or buy a cordless ratchet. Oh well. Ill get it tomorrow

if youre new: you have to watch another video alongside this. this video skips the crucial step where you unscrew the 22mm and also 8:01 that 10mm he mentions isn't necessary to do the job. also skips other steps like the plate. he might have skipped over some stuff because its obvious to him as a mechanic.

I have a new intake gear for Toyota rav4, Gates VCP806. It will not lock after rotating clockwise until the 2 dots line up. Defective new gear? It is my understanding that very little force should be needed to rotate it. Mine is pretty tight. I have to install it on the camshaft and hold the camshaft with a wrench to rotate it. The 2 dots line up, i can't turn anymore but never locks. I can then rotate it back the other way. No air needed to unlock it.

Thanks for this vid!! Just changed out the spark plugs and coils on my 2010 2.7L Tacoma. 240k miles. Plugged it into the reader and read the first two cylinders had an misfire code. Had the initial misfire happen, but it eventually buffed out and my truck went into a normal idle. after 30 seconds or so and a little throttle help. But 9/10 times it starts with a misfire and low spud, which eventually buffs back out into a normal idle. Sometimes, it'll start up with no misfire... After stating that I've replaced all plugs and coils (I did out of sheer mileage) since they've never been touched to my knowledge, I'm going to take a stab at replacing the fuel injectors to see if thats the main culprit. After that, I fear i'll have done all I'll be capable of doing with the tools and resources I have. Just trying to run down the process of elimination list, hoping its not the worst most expensive scenario I could have. Pray for this amatuer mechanic...

I changed coils spark plugs spark plug wires fuel injectors I replaced the AFM DOD delete i tuned the ECU to disable the AFM and I'm still getting misfired and traction control off and engine light I don't understand what the f*** is going on. I literally replaced everything

I had some issue and i just disconnected the negative battery terminal waited 5 minutes then reconnected & it fixed the problem

I dont ever comment on videos but this helped big time.Just did this on a 2000 camry 3.0 v6. Replaced the knock sensors, harness coolant hose, injector seals, cleaned the throttle body, iac, maf and the code came back. In california and needed it smogged. The wires on the camry are 2 clear 2 black. Jumped the 2 clear wires together using exactly what he's using. It worked. Was able to register. You definitely are still helping people so thank you.
