JABRA ELITE 3: LONG TERM REVIEW

I've rocked a pair of 85ts for the last year. Love em, paid $300AU for em. Over the weekend picked up Elite 3s for my other half for $74. The 3s are better, the sound is very good considering the price and the bass is incredible, call quality is excellent as well. I think I paid $226 for ANC and QI charging.

That means you are not an audiophile and likes boomy thicker bass. The instrument seperation and soundstage difference between 85t and Elite 3 is night and day. Why i still use my 5 year old $400 B&O Beoplay E8 2.0 is because of these two reasons. The soundstage and clarity on this pair of buds is amazing but to a non-audiophile, the bass is almost non-existent and they'd say it sounds like shit LOL.

I have a jabra eElite 3, I can say that the sound and calls on the phone are very good,that its true it is water proof because I accidentally fell into deep and dirty water for about an hour but when I found it, it immediately connected to my phone and until now it has not been changed sounds. everything is fine.

These are NOT meant to be jammed deep into your ear canal at all. The instructions specifically say that they should rest right next to your ear canal, but not be inside it. Just had to say that, and now going to continue watching the video :)

Bruv. The electrocution risk thing is a joke right? Nice review! I liked the waterproof test. It’s rated at IP55 which is for jets of water, but nice to know it survives a dunk.

I'd say yes, since they're not delivering high tension and/or power. Maybe they can zap you a bit but will deal no damage. Anyway, you can go swim with them and if you don't answer in about 3 months I'd say you didn't survive the test xD

Jabra Elite sport fits well for me during running. Only difference is that the elite sport has a little rubber hook… these Elite 3 doesn’t have a hook. So yea just wondering if these Elite 3 will be ok for running

The base on this was way better than the ones on my beats pro. And they fit very nicely. Extremely light (seems to even get lighter when in the case). These have noise cancelation as far as iam concerned

The fit is ok as long as you're not using them for sports. The fit is much better than other earbuds that constantly fall from my ears.

Haven't tried these Jabra's, but I have the Sony WF-C500's and I'm very happy with them. They fit well and stay put. They have great sound (very neutral), and can be EQ'd easily through the Sony app. The sound test performed in this video (holding the earbud up to the mike) isn’t going to tell anyone anything and is a joke, as is dunking an earbud not designed to get wet into a tank of water. The only way you will know for certain how the Jabra's are going to work out for you is to buy them and try them out. The same can be said about any earbud since everyone's ears are different.

I have the same dilemma of which I concluded that is a NO, unless you love anc on the 75t and heart beat staff. Sound quality and neutrality is all I am looking for and on the Jabra 3 the EQ is only by presets.. This is the real difference downside to me and I will probably buy back the 75t set as I am just returning one refurbished which is faulty (case) so don't recharge. At 60 € Jabra 3 is the best of all, I guess as far as my research leads me...

Reset the earpods put them in case and hold the buttons until you see violent light blinking. Wait till it stops. Now try it again and install the sound+ app. Set it up. And see if it shows up in Bluetooth!

The sony wfc500 does NOT have good durability. Mine broke after 6 months, will these break after 6 months? A year? They shouldnt for that price, cheap wire headphones lasts longer

When I looked it up in jabra forum they asked to restart the earpods and try connecting it, but it’s annoying to reset it every single time when I want to connect it to pc. I bought them and I am superhappy with them. I have been making music for 12 years and I have no sound quality issues. The bass is a little much but I guess for hiphop fans that is a plus. And you can change the bass and what not.
