Jabra Elite 75T & Jabra Elite 75T Active Noise cancelling update

I have the 75t and trust me it works! it is extremely noticable. they were already my go to workout etc. buds. I also have the Sony's after the update they're not as good but they are so freaking close I may never use my Sony's again. also for taking phone calls they're superior to the Sony's. to talk on the phone with someone with the Sony's you have to be in a very quiet environment because the mic picks up everything except for your voice the jabra with the ANC it only picks up your voice. The person on the other end has a very satisfying call. I think if you can get a pair of renewed 75t's and add this firmware you can't beat that deal..... and did I mention way to go Jabra you truly show that you're willing to take care of your customers by adding a feature like this essentially for free. that adds a lot of good will. there are a few headphones now that are pretty close I think I would consider the Jabra first now because of the quality and the fact that the company really does put their money where their mouth is.

Bought them from Amazon Warehouse Deals for 100$. Best fit, seal and sound and call quality of any tws I tested- including the Sonys. ANC works great. Highly recommended!

I did the ANC update Oct-22-20 to my Elite 75t, then did the ANC customization. 🎧🎶 I think besides the Active Noise Cancelation, Jabra sent out additional sown tweaks, after the update, the SOUND IS EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE!!!! -- Thanks Jabra 🇲🇽 Saludos de México (Cheers from MEX). Wow....I didn't know it was possible for companies to add anc via firmware update . I thought the anc was hardware inside the earbud or it needed to have a hardware like a special anc mic that cancels the noise or does the work and all the app does was activate it ....this is impressive coming from jabra

They already built them with amazing microphone setup which support anc but they haven't installed a dedicated chip but they later figured out they could use their built in qualcomm chip for anc

you just need mics outside to record the surrounding sound and one inside (the one using for hearthrough) to send the same wave, out of phase . So every ear buds with mics like that can add a ANC whenever they want.

Doesn’t sound logical to me. Comparing ANC to ”pass through” is testing ANC + The earbud sealing capability. How would you know how much of the noise reduction is because of the earbud sealing and how much is cus of the actual ANC? Whereas comparing ANC on to ANC off will be a test on solely the ANC where only one variable is changed. Correct me if I am wrong.

@@arbazalam27 if I run ambient sound at 100% with higher volume there's a bit of white noise. I turn ambient down to 80% that seems to get rid of most of it. 80% is still plenty of ambient sound.

I have these Jabras and there is basically no difference to me between ANC and ANC off. I bought them very recently already awaiting the update and was disappointed... Walking next to a noisy street, the only difference it makes is that there is maybe SLIGHTLY less bass noise, like a passing truck engine or something. Everything else is as loud as with it off. Will keep it off since it's not worth any battery life. I don't know, maybe my Jabras are some bad batch or something?

Keep in mind, all ANC no matter what bud, affects bass type noises like airplane rumble, fans, etc. not all sound in general. You’re still going to get that coming through.

I bought the Jabra Elite 75T Active, I love it, its design in the case and the headphones are compact and comfortable, I loved the sound quality and the touch of the buttons, but the big problem arose after 3 hours of use, the left earbud stopped working, on the same day I bought them, and I had to return them to Best Buy, it's a good product, but it's a shame that they are defective. You are lucky that your units works well for you.

im using these headsets more than a year. after the ANC firmware upgrade i was really existed and hoping it would give more benefits. but ANC feature is just disappointment. it barely blocks %10 of the noise no matter what adjustment or ear tips Edit: in this video you switched between ANC to Hear Through. hear through directs noise to ears in order to hear whats around you. actually you should have switched between ANC and OFF. then we would see there are no real difference

I don’t really here a difference and when u compare to earbuds that have ANC actually built in..oh forget about...my pros canceled out things toilet flushing and things simple like tapping lightly on a desk, my jabras don’t really cancel out anytime unless ur music is turned up a lot, I could clearly hear the same things I would if I didn’t have the feature turned on...but hey I wasn’t expecting much cus this needs to be a hardware thing not software....

It has the hardware. There’s a way to adjust the ANC. It’s not automatic like others you may have experienced. It also doesn’t distort the audio like some other anc’s do. It’s not the best anc but it’s also not the worst. Again, the hardware was finished, the software wasn’t.

Just got my second pair. Lost my first. Downloaded app. The ANC personalization area is not the same. ANC cannot be suppressed like before. It was very impressive. Now there is virtually no difference between ANC on or off. Too bad. Jabra. Please fix the app like it used to be.

Actives have a higher splashproof rating and rubber body designed to stay in your ear during active activities!😝😝...apart from that and the price there's no difference between the active and elite...if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will pull me up on it!! ✌🏾✌🏾

I use mine to workout. The ip rating in the active is better, and that's what I would go with. If you don't sweat alot the 75ts are OK.

the 75t is around 130 euro now on amazon in europe. and the elite active is still around180. 50 euro difference for just water resistance is too much IMO. Before the price drop of 75t, I would get the elite 75t active. But for 130, the 75t is a good deal to me.

No attenuation of sound whatsoever (yes, ANC is on). Firmware and app up to date. Tried all three ear tips several times each. Moving the ANC adjustment up and down makes no difference. Just bought these today and am extremely disappointed.

Better battery life, and more mics so probably a more efficient anc than the 75T. But the 85T don't look like a huge upgrade, I would definitely recommend the 75T which are the greatest true wireless earbuds I've ever had

Jabra will no longer be updating the 75t to work independently. The update was expected during the spring, but the testing showed it was unstable. You will have to get the 85t's.

I am with my Elite Active 75T. I'm surprised that so few people notice it. Jabra's answer it's because it uses master slave connection so hissing noise is present. I'm quite disappointed as Jabra is a good brand while most of their models have this issue

@@123looneygan same for me, even after couple of firmware updates, the hiss noise in left bud still exists. One workaround to reduce it is keep the active 75t headset volume below maximum, makes hiss noise less audible (could hear only when u focus)

Being a dude who reviews earbuds, you should have anough insight to understand that what you are doing here can be one of two things. Either the ANC is "ok", OR the PNC is shit. You should test the ANC compared to OFF.. 🤷‍♂️👎
