I was looking for new ear buds and I got the Elite 7 Pro, awesome! The comfort is the best part of it

i went for 75t - smaller, lighter, visually doesn't stick out as much, more secure fit with the active version + water proofing (i do a bunch of sport with them)... plus i was able to get it with wireless charging case and ANC comes with the updated firmware... just a small sacrifice in terms of the driver, but as it is i'm super happy with the sound. i just find it so crazy that jabra released the 85t, and it's not an improvement in every area - in many cases it's a step back! they made this decision so difficult, but the older model actually made more sense for me.

@@JayDee-b5u I tried 85t, and ANC was slightly better, but not significantly. I predict Jabra will improve it with future updates, so it is more the fit and comfort for you as the reviewer stated si clearly.

Yea, you are not going to lose out regardless of whether you go with the 75t or the 85t. But the ultimate decider is fit. And you are right, the 85t doesn’t blow the 75t out of the water in any category. And in some other reviews i have watched, some people have preferred the 75t too.
@dvil513 жыл бұрын
The noise Cancellation of the 75t and the 85t do draw even in my experience. The 75t has one mode of ANC, where the 85t has adjustable ANC levels. If the deciding factor between the 75t and the 85t is ANC, go with the 75t because they do give a tighter seal in the ear. Which helps the ANC.

Thanks for your thorough review, will look at upgrading for the comfort (I wear my headphones for 5hrs at a time at work) and the sound of the 85t in the microphone test, the sound was crystal clear!
@dvil513 жыл бұрын
Yes, I hope my mic test did it justice. The 85t mics are crystal clear. Where the 75t can sound a bit telephony at times. Check out the links in the description for best price for 85t.

Over the 65t's, the 85t's were definitely an improvement soundwise. Also, the ANC makes a big difference and I appreciate the wireless charging (soooo convenient!) Also make great ear protection for the shooting range as well as noisy neighbours, and that is how the loose fit is a plus. However, it also makes them less secure for running and a bit goofy looking.

I really like the openion and very true me i also purchase 75t ellite active and i return it because im not compatable with it. I recommend the 85t because it very fit for my ears. I like your review man.

Good review I tried the 85t, but due to slightly larger size, left bud rubbed sore spot on left ear like all others , but the 75t, which did not rub. However all models fell out of left ear getting temporarily lost, , making me feel a fool for trying to throw away my money. Was about to give up until I tried SpinFit 360 aftermarket eartips on my 75t. The earbuds have been secure since then, I can wear them longer, and they somehow clean up the sound. With the holiday sales pricing I now own two pair Jabra 75t Active. But 85t do sound better, and are more sanitary for those that do not clean/sanatize eartips often.

Yes, i use SpinFit tips as well. I wish i mentioned that in the review. At first i used the spin fit tips with my 75t’s but the original tips on the 75t’s gave me a better seal so i stuck with them.

It would have been useful if you would have mentioned your thoughts compared to the bose qc earbuds too. Like yourself I also returned the following: 1) bose qc and bose sport 2) Sennheiser MTW2 3) Galaxy Buds Live I'm liking the Jabra 85Ts due to the fit and overall they do a pretty good job. However I know that Samsung are releasing the buds pro which comes with an oval ear tip like the 85ts and they are suppose to sound great. So I might check these out too..

@vapefun I did have the QC earbuds. The fit was great and comfortable, but they filled out the bowl of my ear in a way that caused a bit of ear fatigue which led to a bit of ear soreness. So they went back too. If you have an Android/Samsung phone, i definitely things the Samsung buds pro are definitely worth a look.

@@dvil51 i heard the bass and loudness aint there again in the buds pro i got the buds plus i do regret it if i bought the 75T from the start i wouldnt be looking. Im thinking about the 75T or 85T do you find the bass enough on the 85T if you set EQ on more bass? I do like all round sound but i want that bass also lol. And a lot of people said the 75T sound almost the same but How tho 85T got bigger drivers and the 75T still hang with them? that is crazy of Jabra they should of up the bass a lot when you change the settings and you said the 75T still better with the changes on the EQ settings on the 85T.
Thanks u just made my purchase decision a whole lot simpler Dave ... I was on the fence cos a lot of reviews claim the sennheiser momentum’s 2 has the best sound quality which might be true .. but what’s the point if u can’t leave em on for hours to watch a movie or listen to music ? .. you even forgot to mention u can pair the Jabra 85t with two phones at the same time .. cos I use android and iPhones together all the time so it would be a major benefit over the AirPods Pro which doesn’t even sound as good for music
@dvil513 жыл бұрын
Glad I could help. And you’re exactly right, if you can’t have the earbuds in for a duration of a tv show or a movie then what is the point.

The Jabra elit 85t are AirPods Pro replacements. If you already have AirPods Pro, you don’t need the Jabra’s. Both buds draw even in many categories such as fit/comfort, connectivity/convenience, multipoint connectivity, small compact cases, and both have top 3 to top 5 ANC or transparency modes on the market. The only scenario where I would pick the Jabra’s over the AirPods Pro is sound quality....its not even close. AirPods Pro have no punch and no bass at all, where the Jabra do deliver well in that area. And i forgot to mention that you can control the volume on the jabra earbuds.

Hi there, I just got my Jabra 85t, it was working fine for 2 days, and suddenly my left earbud stopped working when I answered an incoming call, I followed the instructions from the Jabra site what to do, but still it didn't lit at all
@dvil513 жыл бұрын
You might have to reset the earbuds. And go into your Bluetooth settings and press forget this device. Check and see if you need a firmware update in the app, if not just return/exchange them. Even if you don’t have the receipt, most places do let you return if you have the original card the the transaction was processed on.

@@dvil51 thank you so much, I was surprised when I tested another way of doing it, I left the lid open with both earbuds in, (not connected to the mains) after maybe 12 hours, came home from work, tried a soft press on both earbuds, to my surprise, it both lit, but when I I started using it, left earbud suddenly stopped again, so I charged overnight thinking it must be the charging problem but to my disappointment it didn't work, sending them back, should I go now for active 75t or stick to 85t.thanks a lot

That’s too bad. I personally liked the 85t. If the fit for the earbuds worked for you then there’s no need to try anything else.
