Jabra | Evolve 65e - Revisit!

This was a great revisit and test of this headset. I wish Jabra would come out with another version of the 75e with ANC and maybe an updated mic. It wore out after a few months.

I really enjoy your reviews, thank you! I’d love to see a throwback to the Evolve 75 - they’ve come down in price a lot since the Evolve 2 series was released. Would be nice to hear it against the Evolve 2 85 and Evolve 2 65.

Does Savi 8210 blocks out keyboard typing? Could you do a test please with that and Jabra?

I got this over the Evolve 75e because it was cheaper and I read a few Amazon reviews that ANC wasn't that great on it and a few crapped out after a few months. The 65e was also discreet enough in the office in conjunction with a desk phone. But WFH for the past few months, I've heard a few people hear me walk up steps to opening boxes. So PNC isn't enough. But the Evolve 65e also has Jabra Sound+ app support, the 75e doesn't. I'm currently using the EPOS Adapt 460T now, wanted ANC earbuds that work with MS Teams.

It does what it's supposed to do in terms of functionality, pick up/hang up with Teams, clear incoming audio, no complaints so far about the mic. ANC appears to work as no one has complained about outside noise either. However it does NOT have mobile app support, so you can't adjust EQ settings like the Jabra. You still have dual bluetooth connectivity (dongle plus one mobile device). One issue I have with mobile device connectivity is my music randomly plays on my iPhone 8 Plus after I get a few notifications on my PC. It hasn't bugged me too much as I wanted a pair of noise canceling neckband UC/Teams earbuds.

Hello, Danny! Thanks for your hard work. Can you recommended me a good neckband headsets? I watched your videos about Jabra Evolve 75e. One of the most important criteria is a microphone quality and ANC. We need this for calls. Thank you in advance!

Hi Al, I am not a fan of behind the neck headsets for voice calls in noisy environments. The ANC on the Jabra Evolve 75e is pretty good. I've traveled with them and they performed well. For best ANC I prefer headsets with earcups that completely surround my ears. However, for neckband headsets, the Jabra Evolve 75e performed better than all the others I've tested although a headset with boom mic will always perform better. Hope this helps. Hi Fahd Hasnain! Based on my personal tests with neckband headsets, I'm not a fan of them for voice calls. Despite the technology and firmware updates, they don't compare to a boom arm mic positioned close to your mouth. However, if I had to choose one over the other, the Jabra Evolve 75e and Poly Voyager 6200 UC have performed better than the others I have tested. this product is garbage, the horrible fit makes this product usable....whomever made the design decision for oval shaped earbuds, should be fired. note from written material: "If the product has ear tips, the ear tips should rest against, but not enter the ear canal". If you're looking for proper earbuds, skip these expensive trash
