So I did buy this "out of pocket" for myself to wfh. It cost £100 for the headset and the charging stand , refurbished on eBay with a 12 month warranty My workplace has removed the ability for Bluetooth devices to connect to the laptop, and crucially this has a USB RF port that I can use too I don't like how my regular headphone cables just get all messy too. This is nice, and given infosec have blocked Bluetooth devices connecting to end user devices , this is a very good alternative. I appreciate my use however is a very niche one

Excellent review thanks. 2024 I just purchased this model little if ever used case included Euro/ US 60 . Which is quarter of original price. This is my practise normally so have a few different models really only costing me the price of 1 new. Same with purchasing phone or tablet, usually purchasing last years model.

Can that headset be safely charged with a Jabra charging stand? Found a tossed out pair of what I think are the Evolve 75, and a charging stand, but not sure if the stand works with the headset. Thank you. I set up the headset & stand, but plugged the stand into a regular phone charger. Should the stand be plugged into a PC? It looks like the stand I found with it is the correct one - used your nice link! Didn't find the USB dongle though!

If you can power it and charge it, it will be fine 😊 great find!

@@EverythingPractical I looked a bit more and the headset is the Evolve 65, not the 75. They seem to charge just fine on the stand. Thank you 🤓

I got lucky on Amazon and found a used, Like New pair with the charging stand for $150. it's definitely like new and probably was returned because it was in need of firmware update to resolve all the buggy behavior I experienced at first. The charging stand is stupid, though, and just takes up space. I'm considering tossing it out.

Hi I lost my dongle and I use it for my work . Is there anyway I can purchase a blank dongle and pair it to my headset? Thanks I hope I get a reply

Great question! Yes, you can buy a replacement dongle. You can also connect using Bluetooth, which is how I connect mine. Then you don't need to buy a dongle. support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023243934-Purchasing-a-replacement-USB-receiver

I have received a pair of this from my workplace. I guess these are solely made for "enterprise" market. Not sure what they mean by Noice cancelling. Anyhow it's ok for the very specific setting it's made for, which is an office, I guess.

What would be a better sound cancelation head set?

In the same "headset" category, Jabra Evolve2 75, then the Evolve2 85. I use the Evolve2 75 now and quite like them, but I think I would like the Evolve2 85 even better since they are over the ear, rather than on the ear. If you are after ANC headphones (positioned for music - not necessarily for at the office), thats a different discussion.
