I've been using these for over 2 years now, so that's about 4000 hours of use. I have the boom set up to mute/unmute, which I use probably 50 times a day. My mic boom has been moved up and down a minimum of 25000 times during these 2 years, and it hasn't loosed up at all. The functionality remains the same as the day I bought them. Very good sound quality, calls and music. I'd like it to be a bit louder for music sometimes but it's acceptable for me. Wifi range is very good, I continue calls walking around the house, and stepping out into the yard. The battery life is huge for me, I charge it maybe once a week, and it doesn't seem to have deteriorated at all in 2 years. The ear cushions are starting to wear and are a bit ugly now, but they can be changed apparently. I agonized over the initial price, but it was worth it. 10 out 10. Great headset!

I've been using Jabra Evolve2 65 -headset for some months now and these are great for productivity. And sound quality just for music is great too, I often find myself listening music after workday with Jabra headset. Overall, great headset! :)

It would have been good to see a demonstration of the functionality within a teams call. This was one of your key reasons for buying it yet you didn't demonstrate for example that the mute mic function works in a team call...

Excellent review. After going through three sub-$30 corded headsets in a year, I decided it's time to pull the plug (ha, ha!) and invest in a decent cordless headset. Your review was very informative, especially the information regarding the dongle. Well done.

@@ItsCaputo Got the Evolve2 65 on Friday. Set it up (easy) and listened to some music and couldn't wait to use it for work today. For some reason, callers cannot hear me. I went into settings and tested the mike and could see it register when I spoke. Any suggestions?

@@glennover6046 hello have you figured out this issue, mine wasnt sounding good as well.
@glennover6046 Жыл бұрын
@@jacq5078 Yes, after literally eleven emails with tech support, the solution was to have me, "deactivate all audio devices in playback and recording and leave active only the link 380." Then, I rebooted and restarted the devices I had deactivated. This took place over two days. In one of my emails, I asked if there was any way we could use chat but my question was never addressed. It was frurstrating to have a new device that I was looking forward to implementing and having this delay. Still, now that it's up and running. I really like it. I especially like the wireless feature. The only other drawback is, there is some lag time, literally about a second, in the audio during the very beginning of a segment.

Thank you for the review! I've bought the Jabra Evolve2 65 and got an issue with a missing sound for the first 1-2 seconds after resuming a track from a pause. The "fade in" effect starts the sound with 0% of volume and smoothly increases it to 100%. As result, I don't hear the first word after resuming from pause! And Jabra support says that this is intended behavior and can't be fixed. So, this issue gets a lot of problems when listening to a podcast or other speech. Did you catch this issue when did the review? And could you please recheck, do any other Jabra wireless models or other brands have the same problem? Thanks!
@ShaneMeara6 ай бұрын
I'm also experiencing this issue. Have you resolved yours?
@MurzNN6 ай бұрын
@@ShaneMeara Unfortunately not. This happens constantly with any MacOS and Linux with all Jabra Evolve2 devices! Jabra support even reproduced, confirmed this, and invented a fix for this in the middle of 2023, which should be included in the next firmware update. But no firmware update so far! So, please report this issue to Jabra support from your side too, to speed up them!

I have this jabra evolve 2 65 and overall good product, however one thing important to note is that if you lose USB-A or USB-C based bluetooth dongle which comes with this headset, you will have to pay 110 USD to purchase a replacement one (Jabra link 380 is the part). And this is rip off. And if you rely on direct bluetooth connection without dongle, good luck with getting your headset connect to your machine reliably. I have decided to stay away from Jabra products due to this
