The way they keep trying in the Jurassic Park franchise, and it keeps going TERRIBLY, it's starting to seem less like a cautionary tale about human hubris, and more like dinosaurs are just cursed. Like, we've more or less figured out zoos, I would think with enough money and smart people thrown at it we could figure out dinosaur zoos...

I love Travis' question! I find both scenarios to be quite interesting, but I do not believe his answer to be accurate. I would, and I believe most other people would, go regardless of the answer. His reasoning for the first part I believe to be accurate. If he had not seen the movies, because they did not exist, then he would be ignorant of the danger they portray and likely believe it to be safe. Why would one expect the park to not take actual fucking meat eating, apex predator dinosaurs seriously? The issue is that the same reasoning applies if tomorrow they opened up a dinosaur park when I have seen the movies. Would a dinosaur park company seriously manage to fuck this up when there are 5(?) movies now about people fucking up park security? How on Earth could they possibly manage to still not take the threat of meat eating, apex predator dinosaurs seriously after all that? In fact, with my knowledge of the movies, I'd say this would be the safer timeline if anything. I obviously could not know that in the other timeline, but I'd think it more likely that a company would be cheap with security in a world without the public awareness of dinosaur danger that we have in this reality, than in a world would that would be *everyone's* first thought should a dinosaur park be announced. The news would be dying to publish a story about how the movies became reality, right?
