Watch the struggles and not too nastyness of changing out the joker valve on the Jabsco head in my Hunter Legend

A great video showing the replacement on an actual boat. Unlike the knuckle heads from Jabsco who recommend placing a sheet pan beneath the valve to catch waste.... Really? Who has a head with room for a sheet pan? Nobody! Great video, thank you! Mike Catalina 36

Realistic video showing actual replacement issues rather than the corporate Jabsco video

I just did this. In preparation, I filled the bowl to the rim with clean tank water from the basin tap and pumped it clear three times, to minimise the dirty water in the system. It was far less troublesome than I thought it would be.

Nice vid.. Congrats on your new to you boat. I hear composting heads are great alternatives and eliminates a lot of that mess, maintenance and smell. Many users love them. Just a thought while watching this.. Keep the vids coming and remember to have fun. :D

Permit me a chuckle! Wearing a pristine white t-shirt when you’re going to be working on the possibility muckiest boating aspect you can find! Why oh why are all marine architects only 5’3” tall. I’m 6”3” tall and have to be a contortionist to fit into ours! I’d have gladly given up more accommodation room for a heads compartment that I can actually fit in! Keep up the good work!

If I'd offered any of my ex-girlfriends $5,000 to do this task I don't even one of them would have taken me up.

I have the exact same problem on my toilet that I haven’t solved yet. The flange is leaking. How did you fix it in the end to stop the leak after replacing the joker valve?
@Charles-tg6hj6 жыл бұрын
I'm confused. I thought the joker valve prevented ""waste" from returning to the bowl...in this video she indicates that "sea water is sneaking" into the bowl.

I guess the end of the flush was clean sea water, and we saw the Joker was bad so it would let some water back. last out first in

Think there is someting wrong with your toilet pump, normally it don't run so tight. You should be able to pump out with only one hand. The Jabsco toilet is very simple build so I think it's only a small problem.

pump in some white vinegar let the pump soak in white vinegar for a bit then yes olive oil or vegi oil should be like new :)

Your Jabsco is crying for oil! Just pour some cooking oil in to the toilet and it will work smoothly.

It should be called the serious valve. Because it's not funny when it's bad.

That should be the new name!!! Let's tell Jabsco!!!
