I'm not Indian and the only reason I started watching Indian movies is SRK. The man is brilliant. He can do all type of movies & FYI he did many negative roles as well since his initial years which are so differ from each other. He can be romantic and baddie in a sec! Playing even mentally challenged & phsycos!! He does arthouse films & commercial ones. He is so verstile. Not to mention he is damn sexy and manly looking with great voice & intelligence. He literally what made BW famous overseas. No one comes close to that. So, it's understandable that envious losers from his nation envy him & spread nonsense. P.S he is the second richest actor WW. The man is a legend and how.

There are a lot of classic story archetypes that have been done over and over again and that is because it's a classic story archetype. Most Kung Fu movies of the Shaw Brothers era have the same plot. But they were very popular in their time and for a long time after. The actual execution of the film may be different in such a way that you don't expect. Some films sell themselves as one way to reel the audience in but are completely different on viewing. So you never know."

"I have never seen SRK play a bad guy" - Jaby. Meanwhile SRK fans "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? :o :o :o " SRK was the only actor in the 90s who took on roles rejected by Aamir and Salman to play negative roles in Baazigar, Darr amongst other films. Playing negative characters back then was like voodoo. You would never be accepted in positive roles once you go bad guy on the audience and he took a gamble. It paid off. Its how he shed his lover boy image and its exactly why people love his acting. Its why Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Film has said "We've only seen 5% of SRK the actor, I still feel that his best is yet to come". We saw a glimpse of him in the Don series also directed by the same production house as this movie. In it he plays a baddie with lovable traits.

just to bring few people in context, the shot where liquor bottles were crushed under a bulldozer, that happens in one of the two scenario, Gujrat is a dry state but when it was declared a dry state, the unaccounted bottles were found and crushed which is the normal procedure. Or a guy got drunk and said "alcohol kills people let me put an end to it. " btw Gujrat is the state where Narendra Modi was CM for over 10 years. P.S. Achara, that smile of yours made my day.

I don't know why i didn't enjoy the trailer at all. Maybe bcoz pushing love relationship in every fucking bollywood movie even if it doesn't require. It feels like we have seen so many movies of such kind that it doesn't interest us now. And the trailer looked very average.
