Ritesh Deshmukh is definitely the surprise package in this movie. Like who would have expected an actor whose forte is comedy would nail this role of a psycho killer :) Also Sid's first time in a serious role after SOTY and Hasee toh phasee 😁 Ek Villain was one of the best music albums released that year! "Zaroorat" is my all time favourite and "Awari" is most underrated Waiting for next part you guyss!!

this movie's music album was such a hit! listening the songs makes me remember 2012, the day i first heard them and the next month i had a huge trip with my family and friends where we listened to these songs on a rainy night. The music takes me right back to that rainy night 🥹 each song in this movie is a gem 🤌

This movie is an emotion to all us youngsters and in the revenge thriller category, this movie tops the list, also the films music album is by far one of my all time favourite and was a Chartbuster packed with soulful tracks that helped to bring our more emotions and feelings, depth into every character, the films story and what the movie was portraying and as in every mohit suri films, Beautiful Music has always been packed that has became huge hits. Ek Villain is such full packed with emotions, pain, love, what a wonderful emotional movie it was, All 3 Siddharth, Shraddha, Ritesh were upto the mark and simple loved their performance alot.

Personally, i watched this movie on starlife and it was a 100x better,like the movie was dubbed in english which made it easier for me, scenes were not cut, the movie u r watching there are some missing scenes and it's all rushed to, the scened are alsonot arranged in order, this movie had me crying from the start to the end and even after it was done i couldn't stop crying until i thought of doing something else, i enjoyed it and would watch it a thousand times more

I wish you guys watched the original Korean movie Bollywood took the plot from, "I Saw the Devil". It's a lot more graphic, dark, and realistic. The Bollywood copy is dumbed down and melodramatic to fit the Indian audience.

Mohit Suri has made 3 Korean remakes including this , 1) chaser (murder 2) 2) awarapan : ( a bittersweet life ) 3) ek villain( i saw the devil ) Idk about audience but all 3 were top tier Indian remakes , I mean the way Korean movie presented those films , Indian industry can’t even do the 30%of that today , but Mohit Suri Indianised those versions so well and good that all three movies are enjoyable ( and Mohit Suri has always 2 chartbusters songs from his movies
