It is crap. Pure, unadulterated crap. These two are just playing for views. Here are some things that are unbelievable: 1. That guy's girlfriend happens to be the best makeover artist in India. 2. Our girl needs a makeover and she needs that makeover artist only. Nobody else in the whole wide world will work. 3. The girlfriend happens to catch them together at 4 in the morning. 4. Dude hasn't got the money to wear clothes. 5. Dude undresses in the elevator, even removes his jeans. 6. Police officers will never ever come to your house. They will call you to the police station. 7. Police guy happens to find the dude at a random medical store. 8. Parathasarthy happens to come back a day early. 9. Girl's sister doesn't know nor does she care where her elder sister went. 10. Girl happens to be in a compromising position with the dude when her father arrives. 11. Instead of getting help from someone, our girl decides to dress dude's wounds herself. 12. That door happens to remain open FOR HOURS! How can people take this seriously?

Finally - I'm so curios how you gonna feel for this - when i first saw this movie...it took me 2 or 3 times watching to get why people love it so much. Maybe because i was born and raised in germany and in our culture we have a total different unterstanding of family, honor, respect to parents etc. For example it's quite common for a young woman to leave home and live alone - not in India as far as i know. It's not just a tragic love story - it's much more.
