Liking the movie is fine, but how can you say that do not judge the protag, afterall the movie is about an addict. the movie is old and has not aged well. a lot of scenes do look cringe and stupid now. and about comparing them with real lyf, of course you would do that cause they are playing humans not aliens, now to what degree one compares that totally depends on the individual. Arjun’s fate in this movie in the climax shows why you shouldn’t follow his footsteps. Betting, match fixing, a relationship built on lies, crime etc etc. He loved her and all, alright. But where did he lead her to at the end? People during 2008 did the reverse…..we just adored the character way too much. Even Emraan Hashmi himself said in an interview that most of the characters he played should not be adored…. Just my thought…
