Very little people know that Rani had asked for just one scene from Karan Johar to justify why she’s not happy in the marriage but Kjo refused . So Rani used her body language , silence and expressions through eyes to convey her dissatisfaction. Those who are perceptive will notice this ! Those who are plain rice kind of audience will not get it and keep asking the same question that why she left him .

Right? I could see her misery. Like in one scene where Rishi didn’t want to discuss the problems and turned on a vacuum cleaner instead of hearing her out? Why is no one talking about it? Like in real life if your partner ignores your words, it’s not a good relationship. Not only this, in general, Rishi didn’t care about what she liked. People never notice these things 😢

I love this movie, is most hard and realistic than 90% of indian movies, but I love the most is the humor is dark and funny. Dev is not the perfect main character, he is a dickhead, Maya is not the perfect main character she is weak

realistic in America yes, in India married people used to at least think twice before cheating, that too with other married people. If this was close to reality, Rani would have at least had a child by now with her husband in last 7 years. Karan Johar actually made it for his fucked up friends and pathetic attempt to woo western, NRI audience!

Tbh I don't like this film that much. But, it's a pretty good movie in my opinion. The acting are really good. My favourite in this film are Preity Zinta & Amitabh Bachchan. Meanwhile for SRK, this is the only movie where I hate his character so much. He did a fantastic job. Rani Mukerji, always did so much even with just her eyes. Abhishek Bachchan, really good. Kirron Kher, amazing as always. Recommendation: React to Yash Chopra's film, please. 1. Veer Zaara (Get Andrew and anyone to watch this) 2. Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Jaby and Achara, because you watched The Romantics) 3. Dil To Pagal Hai (Achara and... Jaby? Or anyone that can digest classic films well)

The movie did show Dev & Maya feeling guilty and confessing to their partners. And then they had to live alone in sadness for a few more years after divorce before they finally met again.

Several parts of this movie are fantastically cringe yet hilarious, glad you had fun with it. Mitwa btw went on to become a template for how they shot love ballads. Watch something like Khuda Jaane (with Ranbir and Deepika) and you can tell they are trying to emulate Mitwa with how it's shot.

Love SRK but you are so wrong here. Amitabh Bachchan outshined and outperformed Sharukh Khan in every film that they did together. His voice, personality, mannerisms, persona, and aura are unmatchable. The small speech he gave in the party alone overpowers all of SRK in this film. SRK is great but not on the level of the Shahenshah.
