However, making jokes where parties may not have a relationship or understanding might cause problems. Like say my friend makes a dark, sexist joke with me but both of us already agree that Sexism is bad. We have an understanding that we both know Sexism is bad. Now include a third party person who doesn't know that we both know sexism is bad. If they listen to us making that joke it will definitely be a concern and not right to make a joke like that in front of them. It's a double edged sword.
