I lost my father who was in the armed forces on January 25 2006(on my sister’s birthday) in the state of Jammu and Kashmir protecting our land , our India. And now this will forever stay in my heart as my father’s song . And I love it so much more now.

My dear Jaby, please note that our national song of INDIA is not composed or written by A.R. Rahman. It is 'Vande Mataram' by Bankim Chandra Chattapadhay which is written in Sanskrit and is very different from that of A.R. Rahman. Many regions are not mentioned in national anthem including NE states, South indian states, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Jharkhand, etc. It's not the Anthem which makes all of us Indians. It's the soul of nation, "unity in diversity" which makes us Indian. Also what are you trying to say by pointing it out? People of Assam/Nagaland/Manipur/Mizoram/Meghalaya/Arunachal Pradesh/Tripura are as Indian as People of Delhi/UP/Maharashtra/Tamil Nadu/Kerala or any other state.

@@aryastark111 I don't know if you got the second reply (network issues) but I guess I will write it again just in case , First of all kashmir, chattisgarh, andaman and nicobar, lakshdweep, rajasthan are NOT included in national anthem. Second of all "Sindh" is included and as you know, it's no longer in India. Last but not least, if "Dravida" is meant for all of South India "Ganga" is meant for all states on gangetic planes, this means "Himachal" is meant for all states bordering or having the lesser himalayan range (also known as Himachal Range) in their territory including Arunachal Pradesh and Assam too. But arguing over it makes 0 sense, I know North east Indians and South Indians don't like North Indians because Most of North Indians are Racist motherf*ckers. On behalf of all Nincompoops, I apologise and assure you that all North Indians are not like them. "India is a dream" because our Unity in diversity is incredible. Rabindranath Tagore ji just tried to write it down on a paper, not knowing that his pen is writing national anthem of independent India. Have a nice day.

The National Anthem of India is titled "Jana Gana Mana". The song was originally composed in Bengali by India's first Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore on 11 December 1911. Ironically it was dedicated as an eulogy to King George 5th's visit to India, also the same year. Tagore had personally sung it at the Delhi Durbar. Later in 1937, ten year;s before India's independence, Subhas C. Bose, the Indian Freedom Fighter proposed the song be adopted as the National Anthem. This dream was realised finally in 1950. Melody's raga: Alhaiya Bilaval

When my father was in siachin glacier for 2 years that time we're living in defense cantt area alone with our mother.... I mean all the familys we're living like that. I just think that how difficult is to live in those areas where temperature is below - degree n my father rarely call once in a week and my mom always wait that when my dad will come on a leave. When my dad calls he told me n my bro that we've to study hard and not to fight with each other and take care of our mom too. That time was really difficult for us specially for my mom. Love you dad. Did you know the writer of national anthem of India is Nobel Littérateur Rabindranath Tagore? He is not only the writer and composer of the national anthem of India, but also of Bangladesh (Amar Sonar Bangla), and the national anthem of Sri Lanka is inspired by his composition.

@@swetanjalisamal2792 yeah that's really nice. Even though our constitution mandates us standing at National Anthem, the respect towards it naturally pushes us to stand. This feeling is beautiful 🤗

The Indian national anthem is so meaningful but the saddest part is not many Indians actually know the meaning.. They just sing it like a song without understanding how important each and every word is.. That is mostly because v don't go through the details in school like we break the preamble in 8th, 9th nd 10th.. We should definitely learn the meaning of it.. It is beautiful in itself nd if v understand v would feel more associated with it.. Also after this video I realised how important the national flag is as it is the only thing a soldier can connect with in difficult terrain.. To feel patriotic in - 56c is tough.. Hats off..

Hi JABY & ACHARA...... I am commenting on ur video for the first time but am a regular viewer of all ur videos. I had an amazing experience just now watching this video wanted to share it. I am traveling in a public bus right now and unfortunately i couldnt stand when our national anthem was going on and I just put my right hand on my heart and was lipsing with it and was feeling proud with tears in my eyes. But at the same time my co passengers somehow noticed me and they did the same and requested me to give it on speaker and unitedly forgetting that its not our independence day or republic day , forgetting their diversity and I just put it in speaker and it was a splendid experience while traveling . We Indians can never get over with our anthem. Proud of Being an Indian.
Don't underestimate anyone
