My grandmothers' brothers were Jack and Tom, very close in age ..... they went together..... and only Tom returned. It broke my great grandmothers heart that she lost her first born.... her jack (john) . To this day he's listed as missing in action .....may all those that have lost loved ones find peace and comfort.

Austria and Germany attack into Serbia who are allies with Russia didn’t mention that earlier, Russia get ready to advance, and that brings in their pals, yup, France Germany attack France as quick as they can, adopt an approach called the “Schlieffen Plan” They go through Belgium, awful decision as Belgium have friends, namely Great Britain, in come Italy. Now let’s join the advance with the first British troops fighting in France.

Heart wrenching. Very well made, We remember the fallen as well as those that came home. May they grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. And at the going down of the Sun, and in the morning. We will Remember them. Lest We Forget. Thanks to all of those serving currently, and those that serves previously. I thank you for keeping us safe, and giving us a great place to live. To those that made the ultimate sacrifice, I say thank you. To those that returned, I say, welcome home.

That was honestly one of the greatest short films for ww1 I’ve seen, you managed to sum up all of the emotion they felt as they charged bravely on that battlefield not knowing whether they’d ever come back to their normal lives, might not be ANZAC day, but they should be remembered on any day, lest we forget
