The first half of this episode was reworked into the TV episode "Jack Goes To An Allergy Doctor" [April 7, 1964], right down to Dennis' fascination with the goldfish {"The one on the RIGHT is the father!"}.

Interesting.... something like that would happen when when the thrill is gone....apathy is taking over. Jack announced the TV show would end the following year.

@@label1877 That's a pretty bad attitude and you're pessimistically assuming the worst. Gunsmoke, the highly successful TV show that ran for 20 years, also made a successful transition to TV from radio and also recycled scripts from their radio days.
