Worked for an outfit with about 400 people at the time. Most everyone had a PC and company e-mail. A few years after 9/11 a new person sends out a link on 9/11 and how it's a inside job based on some supposedly new information. To everyone in the company. Within an hour a "Person X no longer works here" e-mail was sent. It wasn't good for business internally in the company, and worse for our clients if that ever escaped out into the world. The canning of the person had nothing to do with the ideas themselves. Everyone has an opinion. But, there's a time and place and the you don't do that with company systems when on the company's clock. The person's e-mail elicited a bunch of WTF?? from people that leaned that way let along people that didn't. This concert was not the time nor place. Their "Tour" became an issue for anyone working with them, from that point on.
