Yeah ive seen many good musicians just improvise over a little sample of music. When i was playing guitar i remember a pianist who could just follow me in any of my improvisations and it was soooo fun to play with him and he was not a pro at all, he just knew solfege perfectly and had a lot of practice its not very hard when youre a pro but the guy playing drums definitely has a good funky groove and it looks so easy for him, amazing talent here
