Like someone said, people in north of england are alot like irish people, generally ignored Jack charlton did amazing job as manager of ireland, and he made ireland play like how english top flight football teams used to play. We could never be the favorites, we could only be the under dog, and those memories will always be with any person with irish blood, the jack charlton years.
