I think in general people focus too much on trying to avoid hell, and not enough focusing on Jesus, and what he did for us. Jesus is God in the flesh and when we couldn't make our way to him, he made his way to us.
@revjosh77 Жыл бұрын
I’d agree with that and I think it’s because the church used scare tactics more than the gospel or along with it you know Jesus already made the way to keep us from Hell and to get us into his presence but so many will rely on their own strength instead of his

And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire...Jude 1:20-21 God knows what it's gonna take to get each person to come through the door. For me it was fear, just like the girl in this segment. For others it's love. Ultimately, if a heart is hungry, God will get the job done and we'll come to the same place of growing in Him. It's a process.

Her fear of hell led her to someone that would tell her about Jesus...

Whatever the Lord used to reach is what he used. If it was hell then it was hell. We have to seen that girl or heard from her. We have no idea if her relationship with God had deepen from there

This clip was used on our prayer !INE in conjunction with 1 Samuel 16:7. We must obey God and not judge the outward appearance as God sees the heart. You just saved a lost sheep who wants to know !!!🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇🙌🙌🙌❤

This is horrible! This is suppose to be a preacher? A woman moved to tears and you cant lead her to christ without running to your office and getting a bible study? That woman could have been saved right there in the barber shop.
@philipandrus67209 ай бұрын
True, but too many new believers have been led to Jesus, and left to try to interpret the word of God on there own. He was supplying her with a tool to better learn what the word has to say for a baby in Christ
@myname98569 ай бұрын

What he was doing with the bible study os called discipleship. She said she didn't want to go to hell, could be interpret that she said yes to Christ after watching the film , but she still want to know about Jesus. Thats how she will grow in the Lord. Alot of time people go and witness to other lead them to Christ then left them on their own. The Pastor did the right thing. I am sure after those bible session, she will be leading others to Christ because she understands the word.

He was showing her out of the Word how to get her sins truly remitted. He was doing it the way the Apostles did in the book of Acts. Too many churches stop short of the Bible teaching on that and the promises that go along with it so believers come up short of receiving everything they can from the Lord.
