what gets me. is when she finally looked up at him and realized that he was/is the Messiah as he said. you could see the total change come over her. and not fall at his feet sobbing because he did not condemn her for all her sins. and that he chose her to be the one to spread the word that he IS the waited for Messiah. what a real blessing for her. THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR LOVE AND MERCIFUL GRACE.

love what you said, "because He did not condemn her."
@honouredcustomer70315 күн бұрын
Jesus did not condemn her because he's about his truth. Didn't he say "I did not come to condemn the world, but to save it?" So when you see all these platforms of speakers preaching in his name in the complete opposite way he does, what that says is either those speakers have it twisted or Jesus lied, take your pick! The only people Jesus ever condemned in all scripture was the Pharasees and scribes the already holier than thou ones much like those speakers, but Jesus condemned NO ONE ELSE. Most platforms (not all) are more interested in likes and views as opposed to your heart and soul. Remember even Satan knows scripture and can disguise himself as an Angel of light.

It's not just that. The fact that Jesus revealed Himself as the Messiah to a woman-a Samaritan woman, no less-speaks volumes about His stance on social injustice, misogyny, and class barriers. You also have to take into account that this was a time when women were often treated as mere objects, Jesus chose not to follow the norms of a society that degraded them. Instead, He honored her dignity and humanity, showing a profound commitment to equality and compassion. This scene is beautiful, it's almost poetic.

When nicodemus kneels to Christ and kisses his hand it’s exactly what I would do and what Christ does by lifting him up and hugs him is exactly what I believe Christ would do and to think of having this moment for myself would be heaven enough for me. It definitely made my soul buzz with electricity so much it caused my eyes to water but the dam held and my soul couldnt get out just yet watching and thinking of this. They say the eyes are the window to the soul and every time I think of Christ either meeting him, or what it would have been like to talk with him or thinking of his suffering he went through for all of us my eyes begin to well up with with tears. It makes me think of what he said in the beginning of this clip of the living water, like tears from the spirit. I really needed to see these clips today. Thank you to who posted this.

I love it when JESUS called Matthew out of the tax collector box and he left that box as fast as he could. I think Matthew had been wanting to go with JESUS for a long time. I'm just sorry that Nicodemus didn't follow him. He was there behind a wall when JESUS called Matthew, you could see how torn he was, he wanted to go but chose not to go.
@Branes515 күн бұрын
Keep in mind that this is just movie drama, not Biblically accurate. However, Scripture does say that Matthew followed Him immediately. But not that Nicodemus was present.

Why is so much disconect between todays' preachers and Jesus? His co versations and encounters were incredibly life changing? Dont you think?
@cocotv71386 күн бұрын
It is indeed life-changing. This generation certainly has new ways of understanding the scripture but i take it the one who carries it. They must not forget the integrity of the word and the real content of Christ's message. Right?

I don’t think he met Nicodemus. Nicodemus observed Christians after F.T. the crucifixion.
@Branes515 күн бұрын
He most certainly did. In the Gospel of John chapter 3, Nicodemus comes to Him in the night to ask Him questions. It is from this scene in John that we get the most commonly quoted verse in the New Testament.."For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in HIm shoud not perish but have everlasting life." It is also where we get the quote "You must be born again." From that point on, Nicodemus became a disciple, but in secret because he was a member of the Sanhedrin.

The Samaritan woman addressed herself in scripture as a woman of Samaria, not a Samaritan and a woman. They then have Jesus apologize as if he offended her. This is portraying feminism. Jesus came to save sinners, not to apologize for anything. If you desire to know Jesus who lives and is seated at the right hand of the Father, turn from these shows, seek Jesus through prayer and humbly ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into His truths. Turn from these shows, pick up a KJV bible and read, seek the Lord while you can.
