So for the first time in my life I became a bourbon bro and actually stood in line outside my lls waiting for the delivery truck to show up. Waited for 2 hours with zero idea of what might come off the truck or if any of it would be left by the time I got to the head of the line. Ended up with a batch 3 10 year at msrp. I'm not a huge Jack Daniel's fan but this is pretty good. Thanks for the review fellas.

Only one of these I've been able to try was the '23 JD12, and I thought it was spectacular. Actually preferred it to the Michters 10. Hopefully will get lucky and come across one of these in '24. Cheers!

I've never got to try the JD 10. I had to choose between the JD 12 Batch 1 and the JD 10 Batch 2 last year and went with the JD 12 based on the reviews I had heard. I wish I could've bought both, but I'm definitely going to hunt hard for both releases this year. Cheers guys!

I need to look up this new law on 700 ml. I remember once I bought an Eagle Rare that was 700, I did not realize it till I got home and compared to another I had. It was told they ship these 700 ml bottles overseas. It's not a good law if you ask me.

700 ml was common in europe. The US authorized the size, and some brands have started taking advantage because the bulk order on one size of glass for the whole world adds up to big savings when you are as large as JD is.

Three or four months ago I was able to try a sample JD 10 year. It was delicious, and as someone on MeWe brought to my attention, tasted a lot like JD SBBP. Of the SBBP has more proof - what I have now is 128.2. 3:09 I've wondered, enjoying the smokiness of the SBBP, how much comes from the barrel and how much comes from the maple charcoal. You do some *good* giveaways. And I find myself commenting anyway. 🙂

Definite surprise if JD12 was berry flavor, but it was completely buried by the banana oil. Everything intact was muted bc of the banana. Sad they didn’t have the barrel stick to be able to pick them better
