Well I purchased the snap on floor jack's, yes with an s! from the going outta business shop' an offshore marine repair shop. They selling everything at a low cost, so I purchased the only 2 snap on 2 1/2 ya700-a floor jacks that says on top made in the usa, One of the ya700-a does leak an the other is holding! They were well used, paid $40 bucks each! Hey' one still holds presure! The other will need a re-seal kit I believe? I caught these guys at the right time. Thanks for your info!

Thats great! a really good deal, snap on jacks go for about $900 new. The rebuild is about $150 plus shipping, and the turnaround is about 2 weeks.

Can you add oil by removing that silver gizmo that is located where you normally would find an oil plug?

Normally what it cost to send off that snap on hyd pump for a reseal kit installed? ya700-a 2 1/2 ton snap on floor jack. Also what may be that turn around time, far as your floor jack thats being repaired! Thanks.....

Any machine shop that specializes in hydraulics. Had mine done at local shop that works on tractors.

obviously don't use a jack to support the car when you're under it... But don't let it sit around and do nothing. Stick it under the car as a back up :) obvious, I know.

Might just need to turn the valve all the way open maybe and jack a few times to get the air out? Possibly jack all the way up and keep jacking a half dozen or so times as well in the all the way up position.
