What a player, real cricket, legend, great Sir Jack Hobs
@lonestar67094 жыл бұрын
Yes. He wasn't called 'The Master' for nothing. No one played the sticky uncovered wicket better than Sir Jack Hobbs. It's a shame more people don't know about him isn't it? He's the opener for my all time team.

@@Arjun-ej7fj yep, but Hobbs way outclassed Trumper on good wickets. That's why he was the master; he made runs on any kind of wicket.

@@BinaryRex18 ohh.. Yes Hobbs is the best in wet wickets.. I guess Trumper and Hammond follow Hobbs in this criteria

Incredible historic footage. Pointless to compare different era's and I'm sure the greats would excel in any era. Imagine the old era players with modern training and equipment.

While one must appreciate & admire the records and achivements of Jack Hobbs..... I could see very military medium pace bowling attack on this video .... Are these bowlers comparable with the great Windies bowlers of the late 70 and 80s ?
