Hughes talked about "adjusting" to the NHL, but deflected what he had to work on ... Kakko said I must get stronger. Ironically Kakko is already a bull, we saw that at the WC ... Hughes is a lightweight. I think Hughes is going to take longer to reach his peak.

I'm a Rangers fan but I like this kid and I hope the best for him, with many years of a gripping Kappo-Hughes rivalry. yeah, this is how i felt about nico/nolan - ended up loving both of them pre-draft, and couldn't bring myself to hating nolan. kakko seems like a really good quiet kid, and i hope he doesn't let NYC media get to him. the guy will be a force for sure

The way the NHL draft is set up is a joke, the Devils get two number one picks in 3 years, that makes no sense. The worst team should get the first pick, like the NFL, But what do you expect from the guy that single handedly destroyed the NHL. Bettman sucks.
