Captains should always be level-headed and outspoken as Hughes is He was the only one who had the balls to speak out for Pearson. He wants it and he deserves it. Petterson clearly doesn't want the Captaincy as he is not comfortable speaking for the team and rather do the talking on the ice. JT is a great soldier and will lead everyone to his standards on the ice.
