Berlin, Sinfonie einer Großstadt (1927), King of Jazz (1930)
Today the Hit-Song, Happy Feet written in 1930 is played be our Jack and his Orchestra from Berlin.
A wonderful performance and arrangement of this classic song. Enjoy!

Beeindruckende Aufnahme.

Oh Yes, quite! He was in France live, in Holland, in Germany of course and countless others in which he was already known for his records. The most well known Orchestra of the 20s in Europe

Where in Berlin was this recorded? It must have been in a very big hall, of some sort. You can really hear the acoustics.

This was recorded in the so called “Beethovensaal” in Berlin, has amazing acoustics, Marek Weber and his Orchestra recorded lots of songs there

Happy Feet belonged to those who were fortunate enough to exit Germany when Hitler became Chancellor in Germany, 1933.
