Miranda Lambert is a super star! Her light is shining so brightly and every thing in her life has lined up so she can show her multiple singing talents and her song writing skills. She is such a great vocalist that she sounds so great with the other stars that she collaborates with and is just a multi ta lented, beautiful young woman who now knows what real love is with her husband Brendan. She is the Queen of County Music!❤

The BEST version of Tin Man features all 3 lead vocals on ACL Live on PBS 10/02/21. They performed songs off The Marfa Tapes, with all 3 of them taking lead vocals. The production values, variety of vocals, & storytelling between songs makes it better than the “raw” album. You’ll have to contribute $60 to get a PBS Passport to see it now, but so worth it. I desperately wish they turned that ACL performance into an album. It’s priceless!

Yes. Explore it. The genre of country music is deep and wide. It is bigger than the narrow stereotype it appears from the outside. I did not give it a chance when I was younger and I missed out on a lot of great stuff.

You'll need to go well beyond what you hear on commercial radio - I rarely bother with it anymore. Dive into the youtube options and follow the suggestions that start popping up. Check out genres like bluegrass, outlaw country and don't be afraid of the "old" country legends because you thought you didn't like them. Though Ive been listening to country for decades, I've found new voices to enjoy - Travis Meadows, Driftwood, and Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra to name just 3. You'll decide what you like and don't like, but just enjoy the ride.

all texas... and THAT'S what separates texas music from nashville... as the late great and vaunted king of the texas singer/songwriters, guy clarke was asked what made the texas artists different... he said "because texas singer/songwriters come from a more literary stance". townes, keen, ely, lovett, griffith, lafave, willie, etc.; yes, they do. (btw, the "marfa tapes" is an incredible album by these 3 icons... recorded on the wild west texas plains in spartan conditions... epic.)
