We all know, that this is just a simple ficticous TV show (with really good characters, even Lou) and it tells us (the viewers),life is not perfect and never will be and we have to deal with situations and people,we might not always be comfortable with, but we have to deal with those situations and people, the best we can, prepared or not...Sometimes,we have to deal it with either (situations or people) "on the run" and we might not always deal with it,to the best of our abilities....and then, here comes a character like Jack....and his advice comes truly heartfelt and it's meant for us (kinda like a message from the writers to the viewers, through a solid character)...It's something positive to "take away" for us...to think about and to look for the deeper meaning and Jack is perfect for that...I wouldn't be surprised,if that was even Shaun Johnston's idea and disposition... Plus,it gives a TV-show...ANY TV-show.... with such great actors..representing such great characters (it's a "All Star team")....a real good "positive spin" to the story....it's no wonder, that such shows can last for 15...20 years and possibly longer.... This comment comes from a fan,who has been watching "Heartland" since 2007 and lives in the Calgary (Alberta) area and visits the ranch (just by the gate) and "Hudson" (real name:High River) frequently...

Honestly, the last five seasons of Heartland have been the best. I hope we have Heartland for many more years.

I feel the opposite. The past several seasons have lacked what I loved about seasons 1-14 or 15.

I love Jack on the show 💕 he needs to give Amy a talking to her chosing Nathan over her family and heartland ranch! I'm honestly missing Ty if he were alive none of this would be happening. She did it with finn too with Jack ! She wanted Ty, Lindy and her to live at the ranch instead of building a home until Ty made her a swing. Now she's going against her family for a man who has from the beginning tried to take down heartland!

What is Amy to do to let her family push her around the rest of her life. She is a grown woman who needs to get away from her family so she can have a life. Her family has walked over her for years now. Too bad you can't see it.

Love Gpa Jack's advice but I for one have had enough of this young kids whining...not a great add for Heartland rich characters.
