This song was my JAM when I graduated high school. Between the video with Ben Stiller to just grooving in the summer to this entire album... Jack Johnson's little songs conquered my pre-adult world. Easily one of his greatest/most underrated songs.

i've always been kinda envious...jealous?...of jack. he has a great dad and two great older brothers. he always says he felt very loved and protected growing up. my dad was an angry, ornery, racist cop, and my two older brothers were total zeroes who used to beat the hell outta me and humiliate me in front of people, and at school -_- no choice but to rise above it, i guess. but part of me will always be sad, wondering what life could have been if things were just a little different.
