Love the series, but some things do worry me a little. Like the use of MacGuffins and how they become virtually unimportant - first it's Jack's ring (an all-important item until Jack refuses to accept it in ep. 4), later it's Aran's necklace (supposedly very important to Aran, Boss and Rose in ep. 3-6, and yet utterly unimportant in ep. 7 and beyond) and now it's/it'll be a ring of Rose's father. Is this repetetiveness resulting from lack of other ideas to push the plot or is it deliberate and comes from the fact that one of the protagonists is a master thief and constantly needs to help others by stealing stuff? I really don't know. BTW: I loved the exchange between Jack and Joker couple of episodes ago in which Jack was questioning Joker's modus operandi (he said something like "tell me honestly why you think stealing is the way to solve every problem"), to which Joke responded by saying that stealing is what he does best. Another thing that I'm not sure about is the "scaling up" of adversaries/villains our heroes need to face. Initially Joke needs to face Jack, who seems to have "turned to the dark side", later it's rich kid Aran and his dad's henchmen, then it's the even richer Rose (who's so influential that Boss is at her mercy), then it's Boss, then it's the Four Horsemen and the son of one of them... It doesn't seem to end and I'm not sure it leads anywhere.
