I fell in love with James Gardner when Rockford Files came on the air. I then went back in time and watched him in Maverick. He was a wonderful man. I heard Jack Kelly was as well and they worked wonderfully well together. Nice video and thanks for sharing.

I love this video. Really wish they would have had more time to do more stories with the two together. Jack Kelly and James Garner played off each other so darn well. Have you thought of using the song "Aristotle and Averroes" by Kareem Salama? I think the chorus: "I was like you and yes you were like me, We were so much alike but unique as can be, Friends til the end and we were quite the right team, Like those two men Aristotle and Averroes" would fit the characters very well, I imagine in many ways it fit real life too.

What an "down emotion" choice for background music - neither of these guys would have endorsed this song in their footage - nothing against Cat Stephens - it just had its day and that was in the 1970's. In just allowing my Sagittarius Honest to flow - please do not take it personally.
