This was an interesting scene, in some ways I think them cutting it was good, but I think they should have kept certain elements from it. Like when Jamie's sister fell he was checking on her instead of just walking away in the movie, and the thing with his mom holding his nose. Although I like that scene where Jack fell off the branch (even funnier that he kept the same sitting position lol) I'm glad they didn't put it in. It's just kinda weird for a 300 some odd year old magical humaniod to show attraction to a girl, who will never see or hear him and he knows it

Ooooh. Jack's got a crush on a girl! I love this concept! I like how in this version Jamie actually tries to confort Sophie instead of not caring about her falling. Also: yay! More lines from Sophie, Claude and Caleb! Especially Sophie! Too bad this didn't make it into the movie. Especially the part with Jack and that girl.

Correction: Jamie DOES care about Sophie falling. as you seen in the movie, she falls twice. or even more. and the way Sophie said "again" means she falls very often. so therefore, he knows she'll be okay. because this has happened before.

In 1979 there was a cartoon by Rankin Bass, called "Jack Frost" and this girl skating scene was very similar to this one.

And now people are gonna be saying that the skating girl is named Elsa 😢 I’m quite glad they didn’t put this scene in the movie cuz I think the movie’s great the way it is and ended off at a great note. Jack is a guardian and loves forever as a young teenage boy. That girl’s gonna be finding her own soulmate. Well if they did put that scene in the movie, people are gonna be hardcore shipping and be like what happened to the girl and jack and all and it’ll feel incomplete. But then again, it may make less people ship Jelsa so.... I mean, I’m not saying you should stop shipping if you’re a Jelsa ship. You can ship whoever you want but I’m just saying, Tooth x Jack makes a lot more sense than Jelsa.... not trying to start a war or fight or anything like that.... but I’m kind of getting tired of seeing Jelsa comments....

Am I the only one who doesn't like the thing he's got with the girl? In one of the oldest concepts his love interest was Tooth, and in the final cut that's how it stayed, I like those two better. Just my opinion.
