Arguably, the most well-rounded and best faction in Squad once the Stryker MGS was added. The ATV's are just the cherry on top.

Map analysis indeed seems like a great idea for future content as well as gamemode overview. Good luck on future content. As far as i know these videos are the best in your kind of viewer market. Even if this big series is over, you still have plenty of info to cover. The squad community isnt enormously huge but is still a good way to make a break in the content making scene. Keep up the good work!

I've just watched and finished this series of videos on all the squad factions. The videos are well shot, super clear, it's a great job! Can't wait for the next update and the addition of the "PMC" faction for the rest of the series!

Honestly, I think it's fair to say that the US Army is the best faction in the game because of how well-rounded it is. While some factions might do one thing better, there's nothing that the Army does poorly aside from littoral maneuvers, but that's so niche that it's largely a non-issue outside of two maps.

Squad is realistic but I'm in the Army and I have never seen an M4A1 with burst instead of auto

Yeah it’s a vestigial thing in game from when it was just USA vs Russia many years ago. Back then they decided to go with the OG M4 lower with the burst trigger group (that was largely phased out in the early GWOT) because the AK-74 fires much more slowly but has full auto. They then added the Canadians who have a full auto standard AR so I’m not sure why all the kits aren’t updated to field the M4A1.

That's how they were until like 2015, we all had burst on our m4s until then. The full auto function is relatively new.

Just got to my unit, old Ironsides (11b) now temporarily tanker, 1st armored division would be great if they had them in squad because infantry doesn’t just have Bradley’s but Abrams for support. Love your videos 🤙

Personally you missed the mark with the US Army, their combined arms unit is one of the weakest units in the game, BUT their specialized units like the stryker brigade or 1st Cavalry are top notch.

point to add 50.cal Strikers in comparison to other similar vehicles are over-priced, a standout comparison is the 50.cal armed Pars 2 which is in effect just a 5 ticket cheaper striker. additionally the striker mgs, though lethal against lighter Vics, is extremely susceptible to the same lighter Vics mainly due to the weak turret amour its massive gun gets. This makes the MGS easy to disable from something as simple as a scout car or btr-80 (kptv variant) let alone a ifv or other comparable vehicles. This is also made worse due to its striker sized health pool, making any coordinated anti-amour action lethal to the MGS. Also personal peev, why do 50.cals have a ridiculous overheat function when the gun stops firing after around 70-75 rounds.(which is a bit stupid)
