Although the map is considered large, movement to contact can be extremely quick by using the high speed road networks. Sl's should be decisive on game start to get their logis in place before armor and light vics can catch them during transit. Logis should be keept out view from the road once stopped

The most sucessful redfor faction here is the 205th from RGF (Mechanized) imo since as per se Anti Tank team can be everywhere MTLB'S and 3 BMP can have the troops inside survive longer, and do i mention the Autocannons of those BMP Shreds windows? While AK74 can easily wins on CQB Against most Bluefor weapon (only outclassed by ADF EF88) gave the +points for RGF Mechanized to pick for Narva

this is definition of terrible game design. WPMC completely makes insurgent obsolete. Why would anyone play insurgent when WPMC is better in every single way. the only reason you play insurgent is for RP and blast ISIS song in the mic

In my experience, the Insurgents in Squad seem to always have a tactical edge over their conventional opponents. I've seen armor get melted when Anti Tank players coordinate with each other.

Whilst we wait for another official release it would be cool if the community could build their own theoretical factions for you to do a prospective guide too with a focus on new gameplay styles. So for example a Royal Marine part of the British to add a unique recon and air assault force as well as lesser amphibious capability than it's peers reflecting their highly adaptible history as commandos. Infantry - their big selling point for a harassment force would be the new KS1 rifles with the integrated supressor. These are naturally very strong so to balance you withdraw both light anti tank and machine gunner roles. The idea to ensure that they require support from assets to go toe to toe in assaults. The javelin is the HAT weapon but it has anti air capability for balance sake and it's lock on capability is reduced for armour. But maintains the idea of harassment at the cost of major major damage. Vehicle wise they are unique in that they have no apcs but instead focus on air assault which was what they shifted to in land locked Afghanistan and will have the big ol chinook. With a big carry capacity like the Chinese chopper but the chinook has two mini guns and a lmg rear gunner. This is very strong but the sheer size of it and relative slow speed makes it difficult to maintain over objectives. The fire support landing and extracting is the focus of the chinook to keep the marines mobile around the battlefield and drop off multiple squads. The other big draw back of the royal marines to reflect their self sustaining philosophy is to restrict their logitrucks to just one with the chinook providing the core of the quick supplying with a larger capacity than any other helicopter. These extra supplies lead into their experience in Afghanistan of building fobs, allowing for slightly quicker dig speeds. These supply runs of the big lad coming in is what makes them vulnerable to other enclosing infantry forces and land vehicles. Land vehicles are their primary and most glaring weakness. Not fielding a lav or apc besides the scout tank scimitar and a lone challenger 2. The scimitar is incredibly fragile but boasts the only thermal optic in the game that for balance has a draw distance to stop it being comically overpowered and the high ticket cost reflects it. Amohibiously they are the weakest of the group where if they choose the amphibious specialist version they gain a lav like the US marines but lose their scimitars in the process. Their primary marine based platform is the rhibs with maybe a mini gun to stop it being totally useless with beach landings being the primary form of water transit so they still rely on the chinook to do the work. Overview - the Royal Marines excel at both scout and harrassment tactics but their ability to be moved through air assets is what makes them viable on non water maps. As they can quickly arm and fortify air drop locations as their main means of holding terriorty but their weak combat armour makes encircling them a good choice and cut off reinforcement through the air. Their scimitars tanks are incredibly strong for identification of targets but paper thin builds make them easy prey if spotted. Their strong infantry loadout mitigates their ability to hold locales without armour support but potent javelin makes opposition armour not be too gung ho.

I cannot play this game anymore because of how frustrating it is to play when you have a bad team. Squad is a milsim that's trying to appeal to an arcade player base that isn't serious enough to create a good team experience.

United States Army Mechanized Infantry: A Review As all mechanized units, the US Mech Inf focuses on armor and protection for the infantry with heavy firepower while giving up speed and logistics capabilities. Now we shall get into how to play this unit. Vehicles: 3 M939 Trucks 3 M113A3 Logi’s 2 M113A3 M2 2 M113A3 Mk19 2 M1064A3 1 M7A3 BFIST 2 M2A3 1 M1A2 (10 min) 1 UH-60 (10 min) No FOB mortars, 1 ATGM So the first apparent thing with the unit is that it greatly lacks in its logistics capabilities as it only has tracked logis available rather than wheeled logis. Thus the helicopter must be utilized to its full potential; it must be only used for supply purposes. The second thing is that the infantry needs to utilize the APC’s and the IFV’s to its full potential as without those things, the infantry of this unit would be very underpowered. Squad Compositions Total-50 men Heli-1 man- UH-60 Tank-3 men- M1A2 Mech Inf- 9 men M113A3 M2, M113A3 Mk19 Mech Inf-9 men M113A3 M2, M113A3 Logi Mech Inf-9 men M113A3 Mk 19, M113A3 Logi Mech Inf-7 men 2 crew M7A3 BFIST M2A3-2 crew 1 men-M2A3 Bradley M2A3-2 crew 1 men-M2A3 Bradley LOGI/FOB-2 men M113A3 Logi+(2 M113A3 Logi)(later in the game when they are used up) Mortars-2 men, 2 M1064A3’s Assault Tactics: The US Mech Inf needs to make use of its armored firepower to effectively assault and overwhelm enemy positions, thus the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle need to be used in Infantry assaults to some degree. So to assault a heavily defended objective, the US Mech Inf first needs to use its mortars effectively to soften up the position and get ready for a full on assault, this would likely last for 1 minute or so. Then approximately 15-30 seconds after the mortar barrage clears up 3 Mechanized Infantry squads need to assault the position and take control of the objective while at least 1 external Bradley needs to support the Infantry. The infantry squads should not be dropped very close to the objective as losing the vehicles would result in very high ticket losses as the infantry would also get hurt. They should be dropped behind a covered area like a building close to the objective. Depending on the situation the M113’s and Bradleys could also deploy smokes to make the infantry assault more effective. After dropping the infantry but before them getting to the objective the Bradleys and the M113’s with the AGL’s and the .50 cal’s need to open fire on enemy positions to inflict suppression and make the enemy infantry weakened. After the infantry enter the objective area, the M113’s could still help the infantry but the Bradleys would rather be used in positions further away from the enemy infantry as losing them would be of very high risk and they would rather be positioned to do reconnaissance and prevent enemy vehicles such as logis and APC’s from reinforcing the enemy positions. After the objective is taken and if a enemy HAB is spotted, it would be of use to divert the Bradleys and M113’s there as suppression is very important in taking down a HAB. Defensive Tactics: Defensive Tactics would honestly vary a lot from situation to situation but building up HAB fortifications should be highly discouraged as the logistics situation of this unit is already in a very bad place and this would only make it worse, and also the HAB fortifications are not very effective for this unit anyways. So using the Bradleys to prevent enemy vehicles from approaching the objective would be the main tactic and the M113’s would serve the purpose of regular ground mounted AGL’s and .50 cal’s. While the infantry could defend other flanks. But thanks to the quality vehicles of this faction their tactical mobility would be very high in defensive situations and could easily divert vehicles to other sides if needed there. But defense should not be sought in this faction as its vehicles are much more oriented towards offense than defense. Matchups against other units: Armored: So the Mechanized vs Armored matchup would not be one that would be favorable towards Mechanized. The reason for this is that Mechanized units lack the enough anti-armor capabilities that would be needed to counter the Armor of the 2 MBT’s of the opposing faction, while also lacking enough speed to effectively outmanuever the Armored unit. Also we have to mention that only 2 Bradleys have TOW launchers as the M7A3 BFIST does not have one. And also not to mention that only two HAT kits are available, likely what would happen is that the MBT’s of the Armored faction would immediately start hunting the Bradley’s and it would culminate in them losing nearly all their mechanized vehicles with killing maybe only 1 tank. This would effectively just leave them neutered and unable to conduct any offensive operations and probably also very ineffective at defense. Combined Arms: This would likely be a equal matchup as it really just depends on how the teams utilize their strengths. So mechanized would have more firepower to conduct assault operations while Combined Arms would have much better logistics and be more adaptable. A strength that I see in Mechanized would be that it could that down the Helicopters of the Combined Arms team more easily as Bradleys generally have that kind of capability in them. But still this would be a more equal matchup as Combined Arms would have better logistics to build better habs in general but with the mobile ammo from the Bradleys and the M113’s Mechanized could still overpower them. Motorized: This would vary from map to map and from Motorized to Motorized unit because for example US Army Motorized has 4 Stryker’s with only 7.62’s and .50’cals and 2 MGS’s which act similarly to sprouts but weaker armor and faster speed. While RGF has 3 BTR-82’s with autocannons on them and 1 BTR-80 with just a machine gun. So I will presume that the rival team would just be RGF. So this could go any way but I slightly favor RGF as they have better logistics because they have logi trucks instead of mechanized logis. Which are much better for logistics purposes as they carry more supply and are twice as fast. If we also look at other factors, while RGF BTR-82’s don’t have the same firepower as the Bradleys do, they are much faster and could outmanuever them in a strategic sense and if damaged they would get to and get back from a repair station much faster. And because of their general speed RGF might just capture the objectives first and get a ticket advantage early on and maybe get HAB’s up in those positions up earlier. And if the BTR’s do any raiding behind the lines of the Mechanized Inf, the Mechanized Inf could not do much as the BTR’s could easily escape before the Bradleys get the chance to catch them. But we should not ignore the sheer firepower of the 4 APC’s and 3 IFV’s of the Mech Inf as it would still be very effective in all out assaults against objectives. So in conclusion this could also go any way but I believe motorized have a slight advantage if they use their strengths correctly. Support: This matchup is a very interesting one, as these units are the complete opposite of each other, one focuses on heavy hitting mobile firepower while the other focuses on static defenses with quality logistics. So this match I think could be pretty favorable for the support side if they utilize their strengths well and if they are knowledgeable with the maps, the reasoning behind this is that they would be the perfect unit to build good static defenses against mechanized units as they have very good logistics with 3 logis and 2 helicopters(which might come in very handy if the Bradley’s are taken down. So if the support units build good ATGM emplacements and the 2 HAB’s they have access to so that they can still spawn infantry into the battlefield even if one HAB is proxied which is very likely to happen in a mass mechanized offensive on a position, they would have a pretty good position in defending and probably could build tons of backline/reserve HAB’s to reinforce their positions if needed, and if the map is a suitable map such as Laskhar valley they could build HAB’s only for putting TOW’s and could easily destroy the mechanized forces. But the US Army Mech Inf has a difference and it is that they have access to mobile mortars which are much more accurate and heavy-hitting than the usual mortars other units have access to and if used correctly this could be the thing that could give them a edge in the battlefield. Thus this match would be sided towards support but if somehow they mess up and Mechanized forces are used correctly Mechanized could still come up on top. Also another thing that I would like to add is that mechanized units should use wolfpacking strategies against support units as they could easily get hunted by 2 TOW launchers if they are alone compared to 3 Bradley’s partnering up and overwhelming the ATGM’s. this is my essay, just wanted to send it to you

Dawg a PMC is not just 50 dudes who have some firearms and vehicles, they usually have or had connections with governments and can therefore acquire such assets, look at Wagner for example, they’re a pmc yet they have jet pilots.

In my first full match as WPMC it was RAAS on mutahar vs USM. The Vic’s really came in clutch to get us rly far ahead. Also the MGL was amazing for squad wiping

I play a lot on inf and medic specifically, I've only been able to play a round or two with them but on the whole I'm a big fan, especially the access to more grenades. It's everything I like about playing MEA in a faction that I think most players are more likely to vote for.

I saw another youtuber say this (I don't remember who) and i'll repeat it here: the WPMC is like the scout from TF2, they're fast and hard hitting but if caught unaware/out in the open or if they don't play to their strengths, then they are easily defeated. That being said, i feel like it is much easier to play to their strengths then other irregular factions.

so, having finally gotten an opportunity to play a round as WPMC, on Invasion offensive of all things, I would like to add not to underestimate the ability to deploy a recon squad via Loach Scout. I hopped into a Squad with one guy flying the chopper, and he was able to insert me behind and extract and redeploy once I found and IDed defenses. My intel led to an easy push on the Construction Site of Mancougan, allowing us to have more than enough tickets to push the Trenches. The best way to win with WPMC is to know the logistics metagame, maximize light infantry tactics, and basically be annoying.

had the loach scout deploy 2 hat kits behind enemy lines very early in the game, never seen armor and logi get mopped up so quickly, and the loach stayed in the area scouting and resupplying the hat's as well

Yep a loach dropping a squad with a engineer can cause all rounds of chaos. Be it shutting off supply lines to outright preventing a superfob.
