much appreciated Jack, you are great! Keep doing what you do! A lot of the hate comes from people who don't actually know you are a living, breathing person, they just see a youtube video they don't like. :) Having said that, again, appreciate your demo's time and energy!

Best Demo of this Synth on the tube! thank you. Have preordered this synth as soon as it was put up online. now I know I am in for sonic treat. especially since it can load any sample into the wavetables right from my Mpc and field recorder. had subwoofer up definetly had some gear shaking on the shelves. thank you for quality recording!!! most synth demos on youtube fail to do that.

11-months of videos, Facebook page. Was due November 20th, people put money down and/or are making continued payments, Waldorf won't commit to a new delivery date. Retailers pissed, customers pissed. I'm glad I pre-ordered the Solaris.

"...and the keyboard does feel very posh"... never heard "posh" referred to keyboards but that's why we love Jack so much - he thinks out of the box. Please, check the levels, though - Jack's mic is always too low compared to the synths. Thanks. Cheers.

Fun review, seems like a great synth - unfortunately likely to be a total (commercial) failure. It’s not the 1980s anymore and the market for mega expensive synths is very, very small..if someone wants one they should get in quick as I can’t see this being in production for very long....( can’t help but wonder why didn’t they didn’t spend some funds on a development of the excellent Blofeld ?)
@psytpd6 жыл бұрын
this is an excellent blofeld! both wavetable and now it has knobs for everything! well worth its price! nothing like it on the market

you went to namm and "didn't quiet know what it was".... how anyone couldn't know about Waldorf history and the influences in music, and how the Quantum came about amazes me... first came the "wave", Xt and then they created Q series all in a similar time..... i have an old Q+ruby red, and a rare Q+ 32 Rack, and I am considering a quantum.. nice sounds..

Interesting demo: Some of the finest sound designers apparently got paid for creating some really kind of horrible sounds. It's like sci/fi horror movie preset riffs but they're not friendly sounds. They are probably effective modern movie sounds for the dystopia were are going through in the 21st century. It sounds so COLD.

Based on this video i would never buy this overpriced Keyboard. I would buy a 400$ blofeld instead, it has wavetables and good va. And i think that it sounds better. Having said that although, i think it has potential to be “something “ I think this synth is good for soundscapes and ambient.
