In my opinion, he is the one who deserved to win. He combined stand up comedy with magic and nailed both better than those who do them separately. A very unique and talented act. A singer won the show this year but you won our respect and support. Keep up!

@@joshuahenderson9150clearly the ring never goes into the metal cup. And when the secret box is opened and the hat is out of sight, the ring is placed inside the bulb of the hat. The ring has to be inside the bulb from the minute he takes it out of the box. The noise is the jingling of metal is just sound FX

@@K0ALA. Not quite. Yes, the ring never goes in the cup but the secret box has nothing to do with it. He has the ring the entire time. When he takes the hat off Simon’s head, he simply turns the hat upside down and drops the ring inside the hat and it goes into the bulb. The hole in the bottom of the bulb is very wide so the ring can easily fall inside it. You can see how wide the hole in the bulb is when he removes it from the hat.

Whether or not record deals materialise, Sidnie is a worthy winner, taking old classics and really making them listenable again, no magic tricks, just pure talent.

Every single peformance he did was incredible and this was no exception, For me he was a really worthy runner up but I honestly think he could have secured the win in any other year of Brian's Got Talent and he has absolute star quality to him and I have no doubt he'll have a huge career ahead and I hope this isn't the last we see him because he deserves his own show in Las Vegas or anywhere else with cameras and lights!! This was excellent @JackRhodes. I’m a magician myself, although I mostly design and build the props for, others to use. All three of your illusions on BGT this year foxed me completely, although your video on KZbin went a little way to explaining some if the things that happened during your audition. Still we’ll say no more. You’re a polished and smooth performer with a great sense of humour. Your stage awareness and presentation is second to none. Congrats on achieving the runners up spot, you’re going to be in demand real soon!

Easy ring trick. Always kept the ring, and did a dummy drop to make you think the ring went in the cup …got the guy to hold up the cup so he can’t see inside and put it in the light bulb when the case had smoke coming from it. Good presentation but this is school boy magic.

I am not being unkind, but the magic is at the most basic level. “Hold the cup up high” (so that you don’t see that the ring was never in the cup) but slipped into the hat. His hands went in and out of his pockets so many times with the remote control for the hat, etc. Red to blue backed cards and blank to printed cards? You’d learn that on your first day at a magic course. I don’t think BGT is rigged. But it is about entertainment, viewer numbers, and advertising income. I think the only reason the judges raved about him was because he did have a good connection with the audience and the judges know what will improve the ratings. Sidney Christmas on the other hand is truly an absolutely exceptional singer.

That was A grade robbery there. Jack was better than Sydney. The magic was good the comedy was funny. A complete performance by a total entertainer In my opinion. Congratulations to Sydney she was very good aswell but I think the better man lost in this final. Some people may have found the hat Gag not funny, repetitive or just too long but I thought the whole thing was brilliant. Even coming second I’m sure he’ll go somewhere.
