Matt, When I was a kid (1964) you could get hot dogs for ten cents or 1 dozen for a buck. Always with meat sauce and onions. Juicy onions and a steamed soft bun. Never mustard or ketchup. This was in West Virginia and I still make them that way. Ballpark is my favorite brand. Oh, by the way, a hot dog should NEVER snap, that is some crazy Coney Island or Brooklyn thing! And relish? Man they would throw you out of the hot dog shop if you asked for that green stuff. (But I admit, those that you got today looked gooooood).
