Wow this band is awesome, definitely amazed about everything that I seen. The two vocal styles really compliment each other nicely. The drummer, woah... excellent! The guitarist(s) really tearing down some sweet riffage! The bassist looked like he was having a blast! and is that a VIOLIN!? BECAUSE THAT....IS....AMAZING!!!

so, the violin part of the original song was played by Shiren (male singer) on the guitar, also the solo too . Because Shiren’s arm was injured, he couldn’t play all the songs as before, so his part was instead of jill (violinist). shiren is the guitarist and founder of unlucky morpheus, and the singer Fuki is a legend , She has many projects and multiple bands，and all the members came from different bands ，unlucky morpheus is like a super band, each of them has outstanding talents🤘🏻🔥

That is awesome, i feel bad for him since he has that arm issue. Either way it's still amazing! There were a few super bands in the USA but I can't for the life of me remember but they didn't really last that long. Thanks for watching 🤘

The song is about some one that has past over and has been reborn. Fuki (clean) is singing about the human side still trying to hold on to humanity, while Shiren (growls) is the vampire side trying to get her to feed for the 1st time. Shiren is doing clean as well, but you have to realise that Fuki is such a powerful singer, trying to match her is almost impossible. Jill on violin, maybe one of the best in the world and can play anything on the violin that can be plated on guitar. Last month they released an album that is basicly violin covers of guitar classics, such as Eruption (Van Halen), Far Beyond the Sun (Yngwie) and Dance of Eturnity (Dream Theater), the last one she has played blindfolded on a live stream. Unlucky Morpheus didn't really do the Beauty and the Beast style singing, but are doing it more now. That is down to Shiren, who is normally the lead guitarist, but has a condition, tenosynovitis of the arm, so has to rest it now anad again. There are parts of this song, inc the solo which he played but Jill now plays them, this also happens in Black Pentagram (live) but the MV has him playing. They did one song, Kizasi, which he wrote so he can play it with one finger. But more lately they have gone back to more of the Beauty and the Beast style. Also Shiren was one of the 1st Kami band (Babymetal) members at legend I. There are so many good Japanese bands around, but it's only recently that they have started to venture out of Japan, with the charge being lead by Babymetal, after they exploded in tothe west in 2014, quickly followed by Band Maid and then Lovebites. As they have realised their is a bigger market in the west than at home and the west has been waiting for something new for a while. By the way if you've not heard of Band Maid, they maybe the best rock band in the world today. Awesome, thanks for the background information. That's horrible he has that condition that prevents him from playing for extended periods of time. At least he still brings something to the table to contribute to the band aside from the guitar playing. Shiren - Guitar, harsh vocals, composition, arrangement (he has wrist problems and cant play his guitar for the full lenght of a cocnert anymore, this song is an example of that, but he is an amazing guitarist aswell) Fuki - Vocals Jinya - Guitar Ogawa - Bass Fumiya- Drums Jill - Violin My recommendation is The tower of blood live kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYLXe2uln95nnsU Very violin heavy song and shiren is on guitar on this one instead of harsh vocals.

Knight of sword, cadaver/revadac, black pentagram live. In fact all live, though cadaver revadac seems to have vanished and all we have now is the MV which is still great. Revadac is the same song as cadaver, but played backwards. And it's awesome.

Cool reaction my friend. I know there are a lot of great bands from Japan but for me this band is one level above the rest. Also, don't worry about copyright strikes from this band. They are an independent band. They don't have a label and they love it when you share their music. I won't reiterate suggestions. I see many great suggestions in other comments already. Thanks for checking this amazing band out! They've got loads of amazing tracks to check out but I see other kindly souls have already sent you links for a number of those! What I will do is suggest another project that the singer for Unlucky Morpheus is involved with called Doll$Boxx - they've got loads of excellent MV's but if you're up for it I really recommend this bit of live footage of them performing 3 songs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5DYl31_mdCViJI A stunningly good live band and they do a unique mix of metal/pop/electro with detailed vocal arrangements (all members of the band provide vocals and this is used to great effect)
